About the Leaders

Dr. Hemlata Ji

Dr. Hemlata's teaching sits between classical Hatha Yoga and a more healing-focused approach. Over more than 10 years, she has developed a way of teaching that treats alignment and breath not just as technical details to get right, but as tools that can genuinely help students feel better in their bodies. Her classes are built […]

Maa Haripriya

Maa Haripriya's path to Samadhi Yoga Ashram started far from India. She was born in the UK to an Indian family, and later moved to India to study yoga deeply, training for years before qualifying as a Kundalini Yoga teacher. What makes her classes stand out is how she brings different practices together. Kundalini yoga […]

Yogi Vishnu Panigrahi

Long before Yogi Vishnu Panigrahi ever taught a class, he was growing up beside a Radha-Krishna temple that his grandfather had built in western Odisha. Born into a Brahmin family, he spent his early years around that temple, serving the sadhus who passed through it, and it was there that his relationship with spiritual life […]

Swami Shiv Ji

Swami Shiv Ji has spent more than twenty years studying and practising Vedanta philosophy, and that length of commitment shows in how comfortably he moves through material that can otherwise feel dense or distant to newcomers. His main focus is guiding students into the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita, two of the most significant texts […]

Dr. Sanjeev Ji

Dr. Sanjeev has built his teaching around one simple idea, taken seriously: breath, when properly understood, isn't just a warm-up for meditation, it's a doorway into it. Over more than 12 years, he has focused on advanced Pranayama and yogic breathwork, going well beyond the basic breathing exercises most students learn early on. His classes […]

Yogi Naveen

Since 2015, Yogi Naveen has been running Yoga Teacher Training courses, and in that time he has personally trained over a thousand teachers, in India and abroad. That's a big number, but it really means something: a thousand different students, each with their own questions and their own reasons for wanting to teach, all guided […]

Ashutosh Mishra

Ashutosh Mishra grew up in Rishikesh, the town many people travel far to visit just to learn yoga. Because of this, yoga was never something far away for him, it was simply part of daily life. He later studied it formally too earning a Bachelor's degree in Yogic Science from the University of Patanjali and […]

Mandeep Bhatt

For more than 20 years, Mandeep Bhatt has kept up a serious study of the Vedas, and that kind of long-term dedication shapes the way he thinks and teaches. He didn't come to yoga through the physical practice first, his path has run through scripture and study, and that scholarly base is what defines his […]

Yogi Sunil

Yogi Sunil Bisht was taught by his own father from the age of four. It's an unusual thing to say about anyone, but it means his relationship with these practices isn't something he picked up later in life out of curiosity; it's simply how he grew up, absorbed the way a child absorbs a language […]
